Big Update V3.8 now available!


This big update comes with many UI and UX improvements that aim to make the experience more pleasant. With also bug fixes and balance changes, and other things! This update also makes available the selection of the Standard Edition or the Special Edition and Difficulty selection at the start of a new game.

GRAPHICAL IMPROVEMENTS

  • + Project has been promoted to DX12   ( DirectX 12 )
    •  * Still work in progress so reporting bugs here or on the Discord will help.
  • + Improved visuals, tweaked contrast.
  • + Added Depth of Field.
  • + Added an extra check for detecting the display resolution. 
    • * No more blurry display.
  • + Resolution upscaling has been disabled.
    • * The game will now render at native resolution always.
  • + FSR2 has been implemented with the Quality Preset.
  • + Redesigned exteriors for the Balcony and DarkHallway levels.
  • + Tweaked outline effect.
  • + Improvements in Unreal Engine Lumen configuration.

NEW FEATURES

  • + Pause menu implemented. The menu can be called when pressing ESC.
  • + Completely reworked movement animations. 
    •   * Reduced blobbing for walking and running with emphasis on vertical movements instead of horizontal ones.
    •   * This completely removes nausea from equation. The movement is now more natural.
  • + Completely reworked objects interaction with custom unique Crosshairs that changes depending on the interacted object!
  • + Reworked Interactions.
    •   * They will now also be called with Left Mouse Button and could be cancelled with Right Mouse Button (if possible).
  • + Lasers now have a visual and auditive 'charge up' effect.
  • + Save stations will now have a looping idle sound when the player has never used it before
  • + Save stations will now have a red light when it has never been used before, and a green light when they've been used.
  • + Added password visualization for the Password Station.
  • + Added 'Eye Blinking' for most monsters!.
  • + Added Edition selection at the start of a new game.
  • + Added Difficulty selection at the start of a new game.

GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS

  • + Custom event and interaction with the Wolf King when transfurred by the spikes just when the battle is ending and the latex jar is about to drop
  • + Improved the flickering lights effects on Office area to promote darker rooms with more emphasis on dark/light contrasts.
  • + FoV-changing when starting to run is more 'snappy' (quicker transition).
  • + Levels are now properly unloaded when changing locations.    
  • + Tweaked 'Interaction' line tracing to be more precise.
  • + Added new Monster Dialogues.
  • + Fixed the Cat's pathing so it pursues in a straight line from a more acceptable distance
  • + Fixed a bug with the Cat's pathing when it's a certain distance from the player
