Update V3.9.9! RTShadows and Improvements!
This longer developed update introduces new features and tweaks to the game that intend to make a better experience! Some noticeable features are the implementation of Lights' Shadow Casting and Ray-Traced Shadows! Because these options are intensive and resource-hungry, they are off by default, but you can toggle them in the Configuration menu!
Of course, this update brings many other new things, so let's take a look at what it brings...
MAJOR NEW FEATURES:
- + Added support for Full Shadows (off by default) **EXPERIMENTAL - Feedback needed**
- + Added support for Ray Traced Shadows (off by default) **EXPERIMENTAL - Feedback needed**
- + Lumen will now use Hardware Ray-tracing when supported and enabled.
- For Raytracing support you will need at least a Radeon 6000 & 7000 series or an NVIDIA RTX20, 30 and 40 series graphic card.
NEW FEATURES:
- + New remastered music by SpeedyVibes: Dragon King Boss Music!
- + New improved Venting System interaction for Monster Players
- + Some levels have more venting points
- + New monster interaction dialogues in more parts of the game! (Standard/Special Edition)
- + Added 'type writer' sounds for dialogues (counts as part of the 'UI' sounds and can be toggled)
- + Added option for Motion Blur Intensity
- + Added more ambient sounds to some levels
- + Non-Player Monsters can now look at their interest up and down!
- + Better behavior for Dark Latex Monsters
- + When Human is transfurred, all Dark Latex Monsters, except for the Transfurrer, will stop chasing and observe the Human being transfurred... before going back to it's duties.
- + If a Player Monster obstructs the way of a patrolling Dark Latex Monster, he will get upset and will try to walk away and try to evade the player before continuing it's patrol
- + As a Player Monster, pressing TAB one more time when in Third Person gives an additional view-mode that centers the view in Third Person.
BALANCE & TWEAKS:
- + Ming Cat Rebalancing:
- + Ming Cat has increased speed
- + Ming Cat has less distance tolerance
- + Ming Cat will now reset it's Tired delay when Human steps in a puddle (meaning that it will stay in it's aggressive state if you are to step in a puddle while it's aggressive)
- + Yufeng Dragon tweaking:
- + Yufeng Dragon Consciousness Type is now Fully Conscious
- + Yufeng Dragon is now Organic type
- + Injection Werewolf tweaking:
- + Injection Werewolf Consciousness Type is now Fully Conscious
- + Modified White Latex Male 01's animation for Balcony ending
- + Removed latex puddle in Werewolf TF
- + Removed camera lag feature to prevent nausea/dizziness and improve responsiveness
- + Tweaked the White Latex Hive Monster's walking animation to feel more lively
- + Tweaked the Werewolf TF's animation to also feel more lively
- + Tweaked a bit The Human's 3D model
- + Tweaked the offset of the Human's mesh (improving visual precision for gameplay)
- + Made technical changes to the Human's mesh. Fixing, for example, seeing your own head in first person **EXPERIMENTAL** (possible bugs because of this)
- + Added 'ice' footstep sound (only hearable if you can step in the ice, not sliding)
BUGFIXES:
- + Fixed a 'typo' in the first Dr. K.'s Tape Recorder
- + Fixed a bug in which you could interact with the Werewolf Injection boxes while in the middle of the transfur, getting as a result two overlapping dialogues
- + Fixed putting Fake Dark Latex Monster Suit while crouching making the player really small and unable to uncrouch while wearing the suit
- + Fixed Cat Chase music restarting when having already escaped
- + Fixed Cat moving around in the pillow while sleeping
