ServerArea Development Status


Hi! It's time to update you guys on what I've been doing, so here we go!

Sometime ago I paused the development of features, bug fixing, etc., for I am developing the new segment of the game, the ServerArea! This will take time, but I'm testing a new development approach, instead of making the entirety of the level design of all levels in one go, I am developing first the majority of the entire part of each level before proceeding to the next.

So, even so I've just developed the first part of the ServerArea, it's fully scripted and game logic is implemented, functional and brimmed with Dr. K.'s monothematic dialogues about the wonders of being bestialized! (And now second part is in development). This means that I only need to attach the custom sounds and 3D models (game art) when I finish the rest of the levels, instead of having to implement the game logic of ALL the levels which takes tremendous time.

In this first part of the ServerArea, you are able to save, read notes, have Dr. K. drill your head (dialogues), and be chased by a 'Bestializing Laser', all while the game logic is functional, no repeated dialogues, and able to get from start to finish!

I am now in the works of the level ServerAreaDisinfection, which is the place where the faceless, little, nasty playful white dogs come out while you are in the forceful process of disinfecting...    As of now, I need to make some 3D models for this level, such as the WhiteLatexPups, the yellow danger sign on the wall, elevated ground tiles, and other models, and implement dialogues and game logic, such as the spawning of the little pups after initializing the disinfection process with the button. ( Movable cones' logic has been made, and it works, yay! )

ops ! You moved so fast, I didn't react

It looks like you're making good progress and the images look very well restored, but it's time to spit on your triangular cone~

Just a joke, but the model could really be optimized later

You mentioned sterilization chambers and moving lasers, which made me look forward to that and to helping you test the problem, but given some privacy, I decided to hold off until you were sure to release it.

I don't know if you've played Puzzles, but I think your current approach is very similar. I'm glad you're doing your best to optimize your process, and when the main process is built, it does make the branching process much faster

TIP: The serial number of the update is recommended to be V1.0 a version for large areas, and 0.1 a version for small updates, which is also convenient to distinguish.

Involved in the new mechanism but the game content nothing has changed with the current version number + letter to say, just a small proposal
