Changed3D OfficeArea RELEASE now available!


After a lot of work and sweat, I've managed to reach a somewhat satisfactory point in development of OfficeArea, so update has been launched! (It's 7:00 PM here, worked almost all day in this update, and I am too tired to add images now in this DevLog, sorry!)

This update implements a lot of suggestions that you guys gave me, and also my personal development tasks:

- Save and Load 100 slots!
- Balance tweaking: movement of the monsters, event delays, etc.
     / More time to alert and escape the dark latex monsters in the bathrooms
- Head bone rotation! (monsters can now look, with their head, at their interest, be it the human or a fellow monster)
- New dialog helpers at some locations (now prompted at some situations to indicate what to do, such as White Knight chase or Cat chase)
- Redesign of most UserInterface: Dialog prompt, Save and Load screen and Main Menu screen have been redesigned more alike the original game!
- Lots of bug fixes (there's still probably some bugs laying around... Argh, they just wont go away, won't they?!)
     / Fixed camera bug in which the FOV would go crazy after going down from a chair
- Level improvement (some areas have gone an improvement, and have additional details and dialogs)
- More monster interactions: as certain monsters, you may do certain things or get unique dialogs!
- New OfficeArea transfurs! (Spike transfur, Wolf King transfur, Werewolf Injection transfur, Crystal Mask transfur, Dark Latex Shadow transfur)
- Dr. K.'s Tape Recorder dialogs: You may find tape recorders in the level and get to see what Dr. K. thought of the situation... (I've forgotten previously about this one, so now I made it)
- Cinematic introduction for the Wolf King boss
- If standing still as a monster and in third person ("TAB" key), you will now be able to look around your monster character!

- Probably more additions, fixes and stuff that I forgot.

I will be working a little more time on OfficeArea and probably either continue to the Server Room or optimize/improve aspects of the game (3D models, animations, etc.)

Okay, I'm back. Here's what I've found so far that might be affecting the experience.

1. The bathroom has plenty of time to escape the black latex, but it is possible to go through the door and grab you, or just pick up and come out through the glass door and then grab you directly, in both cases.There is just a probability

2. If you happen to stand in the corner, or stand by the wall to be caught, it may cause you to go through the wall, the transformation will only see the wall, and may even be unable to move.

3. Wolf King spikes transformed a problem through the floor ...... I suspect that the change in height after the conversion caused this problem.

That's all for now.

The following are some suggestions I personally thought of, only when you have free time to consider in the future

1. the future of all transformations have a unified room for the players to play through the transformation of their own discovery, as well as to find out which did not find the transformation (this I think made into changed-SP ending library is very good, taking up little space, but also only three buttons to switch)

2. The first time I met the little black dragon was knocked to the ground, not on his knees.

3. I always think keLin's five-fingered paws are ugly ......

4. Dr. K's recorder is recommended to do a little smaller, now that is too big

5. wolf king spike transformation can change back and back, this feature makes me feel very novel, and even play a while, but I suggest you make a semi-conversion of Kelin model to replace the current one, otherwise the transformation can also change back to human-like, a little weird

The Gallery, yes, where you get to see every photo and transfur in one place, I was planning on doing this level more in the future, but now that you mention it, it might not be a bad idea to start developing it early on!

Oh, now I realize that Yufeng Pup QTE has Colin almost lied down or put against the wall, not just on knees, it's true. When I find the moment, I will fix those two animations (Yufeng Pup QTE Anim and Colin Struggle Anim)

I am just wondering who is "Kelin"? Is it intentional or a misspell? I'm not sure.

I did not understand this: "3. I always think keLin's five-fingered paws are ugly ......", what monster has a five fingered paw??? Picture? Description of the monster? (Who is "Kelin"?)

So... change the Wolf King Spike Transformation for a less human-like model is what you're saying? Maybe I will do that, I kind of thought that it was weird, maybe with more time put to it, it could look better.

Any-who, thank you very much for the interest in my game!!! I am trying my very best to make it as good as the original game :D

Oh, maybe it's my grammar. Kling is not my grammatical mistake, he also refers to the player role, lin and Kling are both. 

I mean Klin's toes, which look strange.

 I mean the transformed human model. In the original version, Kling was transformed into a wolf's ear, two front paws and a half-bent leg, and the whole hair, head, body and half limbs remained the same. I can't send pictures, otherwise you might understand them faster.

Ahhh, I think I understand. Wolf King Colin does not "apparent being human", like a shapeshifter, instead, it's semi-human with Black Latex Monster features such as curved legs, ears and paws, capable of transforming into either semi-human or full Black Latex Monster.

Currently, "Kelin's" model is just the human model, that's why there is no paws or anything like that, and it's just human feet.

The only big problem I've had so far with various tests down is getting through the floor and through the wall. This problem is more prominent in places like being caught by a cat next to a warning triangle cone, being transformed by black latex at a wall, and Kling being transformed by Wolf King spikes.

You understood it correctly, eh ......... I haven't found any other possible problems, and probably because I'm only in the player's perspective, but that's enough.

Oh......... Damn, I forgot about this, some boxes I do not know if there is no collision volume, the player can still climb up, resulting in their characters hanging (usually, this thing happens on those yellow boxes)
